The Pacific Trail Pipeline (PTP) is an ongoing 480 km natural gas pipeline from the Liard and Horn River basins in northeastern B.C. via Summit Lake, BC.

According to Chevron The PTP has a benefits agreement with all 16 First Nations whose traditional territories are along the proposed PTP route.  However, this pipeline has met significant resistance from Indigenous groups along it’s proposed route throughout the construction phase.

Chevron and several International business partners are still hopeful that they will be able to construct the Kitimat LNG Facility, a proposal estimated as a $40 billion investment.
